NIA JOHNSON – JESS GALL
…A LARGE AREA WITH ROOM TO BREATHE…
Nia Johnson and Jess Gall visited c3 on the 22nd of October 2016.
We have not worked together before and are interested in asking some
questions; we are okay with asking questions.
Jess asks if there has been a screen to tessellate the fireplace?
No this is not for display.
Nia notices in Gallery 2 that she is falling.
The floor becomes the wall, the ceiling (floorboards) becomes the ground, the
walls do not exist, and back door exit becomes a stage door.
The trajectory is not linear, failing is induced like a set of keyframes on final
cut pro; swaying, gradually rising, landing.
A crescent moon is a fingernail stuck in a yoga mat.
